(Old) YL App app for iPhone and iPad

YellowLabel is an app that allows you to prevent food waste and save money at the same time! Reduced price food items - ‘yellow labels’ - contained in food outlets across city locations are advertised in a pop up format throughout the day. You can discover and be notified of yellow labels if they are contained in a nearby stores, from the convenience of phone. Once discovered, you can choose to enter a store and make a saving on food items, whilst preventing food from being wasted in your city!

Once logged in, you will be presented with a map. This will show you your location, and your nearest ‘yellow label’ store. Tap on the map pings to see the store name. Then simply tap the name of the shop and be taken to its information page. From there you can see the shop front, all of it’s key information, and a link to its exclusive YellowLabels contained in store . From there, you can browse the items, and then go to the store and get them. You can see the new price, and the great savings you are making. Simple!

Just remember to refresh the app every now and again, otherwise you could be missing out on great local discounts only just uploaded. The app is completely live, and all the content is uploaded by the stores around you. Refresh and check in regularly in order to make sure you don’t miss out on anything.

YellowLabel has a wide range of food stores on the app, and it’s being added to all the time. Check them out regularly to see what offers they have on at different times of the day. Fancy a late breakfast? Mid afternoon snack? Want to pick something up for tea? Our committed store partners can provide all of this, and everything in-between. We know you will be surprised at the amount of food available on your doorstep.

Our service is currently only available in Leeds. However we are hungry to ‘sow the seed’ and reduce food waste all over the country.
